Grace Potter & the Nocturnals have teamed with VEVO for the premiere of “The Lion The Beast The Beast,” a powerful live performance video for the title track to their current album. Viewable here, the stunning footage was shot by award-winning video director Shaun Silva, who captured numerous live performances during the band’s tour in the summer of 2012.

GPN has long been hailed as one of the best live bands today with Relix Magazine saying, “…there is no better live rock and roll band touring the clubs and theatres of America than Grace Potter & The Nocturnals,” Silva’s cinematic eye beautifully captures the band’s incendiary live performances and Potter’s indelible charisma on stage.

Grand Point North 2013 Announced

Hey Everyone!

We’re excited to announce the third annual Grand Point North Festival on September 14th & 15th in Burlington, VT. This year’s festival will once again take place at the beautiful Waterfront Park. This year’s lineup includes Gov’t Mule, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires, City and Colour, Felice Brothers, and Shovels & Rope. Additional performers include Scott Tournet & Ver La Luz, Natalie Prass, and locals Kat Wright & The Indomitable Soul Band, Rough Francis, Joshua Panda and the Hot Damned, Paper Castles, Alpenglow, and Belle Pines.

Special early bird two-day tickets are on sale now - click here and use password: “MANSFIELD”. Regular two day tickets and single day tickets will go on sale this Friday, May 17th at 11AM Eastern. We’re also pleased to announce Grand Point Access, the festival’s own VIP experience. In addition to the summer tour dates with Robert Plant, Dave Matthews Band, The Avett Brothers, The Allman Brothers Band, and several festivals and headlining shows this summer, we are announcing some additional dates that have recently been added to the tour. GPN’s first show of the tour will now be on May 30th in Fort Smith, AR, and Grace will be performing solo with The Roots and other special guests for the Fourth of July Jam in Philly. Full Summer Tour Announced

Hey Everyone!

GPN’s 2013 Summer Tour has just about come together, and tickets are now available for most shows. The tour criss crosses the US and includes a mix of headlining performances, supporting slots, and festivals.

We are excited to announce many new dates this week that have just been added, including three shows with Robert Plant Presents Sensational Space Shifters in LA, Santa Barbara, and Berkely, CA, as well as four shows with The Allman Brothers Band, in Atlanta, Virginia Beach, Boston, and New York. We are humbled and honored to be invited to tour with these two rock n’ roll legends.

Several new headlining shows have been added as well, including dates in Las Vegas and Crystal Bay, NV, Flagstaff, AZ, Salt Lake City, Davenport and Council Bluffs, IA, Grand Rapids, MI, Cooperstown, NY, and Charlottesville, VA. Fan presale tickets for most of these shows are available here.

New festival dates include Basilica Block Party in Minneapolis and Zac Brown Band’s Southern Ground Music and Food Festival in Nashville. Ticketing info for these and other festival dates are listed below.

Greetings from the Roar Tour!

The band is finally back in the US after a great run with The Avett Brothers in Europe followed by our first-ever shows in Australia. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us!

GPN’s 2013 Summer Tour is coming together in a big way – there’s a great mix of festival appearances, headlining shows and a handful of dates playing with good friends. Fan presale tickets are now available for several west coast dates that were just announced, including headlining appearances in Pomona, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR. Nocturnal guitarist Scott Tournet is releasing his solo album, VER LA LUZ, on May 14th. The sound on VER LA LUZ is a seamless fusion of the homespun and the experimental. It features contributions from drummer Austin Beede (formerly of Alberta Cross), fellow Vermonters Lowell Thompson and Kelly Ravin, and Grace, who co-wrote “Treasure” and “The Longing”, adding her vocals to the latter. First Summer Shows and Festivals Announced

Greetings from the Roar Tour!

As we embark on our international tour of Europe and Australia, we’ve got several shows for the summer tour that have just been announced.

The month of March will see Grace and Matt opening up for The Avett Brothers throughout Europe for the first two weeks. The full band will be joining them in the UK and Ireland for three shows with The Avetts and the first ever GPN headlining show in London at Bush Hall on March 13th. Tickets for this special headlining show are going fast, you can get tickets here while they are still available.

After The Avett Brothers tour wraps up in Dublin, GPN heads to the other side of the world for two great festivals in Australia. The first will be the West Coast Blues N Roots Festival in Fremantle, WA, featuring Paul Simon, Robert Plant, Iggy Pop, Wilco, and many other great bands. Then it’s off to Byron Bay, NSW for the Byron Bay Blues Festival for two performances.

The summer is starting to come together, with shows recently announced with Dave Matthews Band, and several great festivals including All Good Festival and Free Press Summer Fest in Houston. This summer will feature GPN’s first co-headlining appearance at Red Rocks with the Tedeschi Trucks Band. Fan presale tickets are available now! Greetings from the Roar Tour!

We’re excited to announce the addition of a second show at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. The first show is sold out, so we’ve added a second night on Sunday Feb. 24th. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far this tour, we’ve seen sell out crowds in St. Louis, Cincinnati, Louisville, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Des Moines, and Baltimore, and upcoming shows that have already sold out include Albany, Canton, NY, Charleston, SC, and Red Bank, NJ.

This week we return to Montreal for our first headlining show since 2008, and after a brief New England run we will head down to Florida for some much needed relief from the bitter cold. We’re looking forward to spending some time in Jacksonville, St. Petersburg, Miami, and Lake Buena Vista, as well as stops in Charleston, SC, Clemson, SC, and Norfolk, VA before heading back north to finish out the tour. It’s been almost two years since we headlined in Florida, so it should be a great run! You can get tickets to all shows here.

We’ve also added our first full band European headlining show on March 13th at Bush Hall in London. We will be performing as an electric duo opening for The Avett Brothers during their European tour, with the rest of the Nocturnals joining for full band sets in the UK and Ireland. Happy New Year!

It is no secret that GPN loves Chicago. Our upcoming show at the Riviera on January 18th is almost sold out (get tickets ASAP as there are only a few hundred left) so we thought we would add a second show in the Windy City: on Saturday, January 19th, we will be performing at the Park West. The pre-sale for this show is available today on our website, and tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, at 10am local time. We recommend getting tickets early for this one as it is a much more intimate venue and we expect them to go quickly.

We’ve also added a second show in Baltimore at Rams Head Live on February 4th! Tickets for this second show go onsale today and are available on our website. The next leg of the Roar Tour starts this Thursday with a sold out show at the Pageant in St. Louis and we cannot wait to rock with you all!

Yes! We are still taking set list requests on Twitter, so if you’re going to a Roar Tour show and want to hear your favorite song, tweet @gracepotter #GPNSetlists (please specify which show you’ll be at) and maybe you’ll see your request on the set list! Greetings from the Roar Tour!

Its always such a blast to play shows at the House of Blues in Boston and Calvin in Northampton and this past weekend was no different. Thank you for rocking so freaking hard with us! We’re in Cleveland tonight and then on to the grand finale, four epic nights at the 930 Club in D.C.

Never fear! We have added six more weeks of shows starting in January of 2013, so there are plenty more opportunities to catch us on the road. We’ll be kicking things off on January 10th at The Pageant in St. Louis, and then crisscrossing the Midwest and the Southeast. You can check out the full list of tour dates at the end of this email, but recently added shows include: The Venue in Fargo, ND on Jan. 24, a second show at First Avenue in Minneapolis on Jan. 26, Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines on Jan. 27, the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, OH on Jan. 30, House of Blues in Atlantic City on Feb. 1, The Egg in Albany, NY on Feb. 6, and the Corona Theatre in Montreal on Feb. 7. All of the dates for the 2013 leg of the Roar Tour are listed.

We’re also adding a very special show on Friday, Feb 22 at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey. For this show, we’ll be offering a very limited number of “Friends of the Shore” Gold Circle tickets that also include admission to a pre-show reception with GPN. All proceeds from these tickets will benefit Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

We are also going International in 2013. Our pals The Avett Brothers have invited us to join them on their European tour. We’ll be visiting Oslo, Stockholm, Malmo, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Zurich, and Cologne for special solo/duo performances, before being joined by the Nocturnals for shows in London, Manchester, and Dublin. Following our trip to Europe we’ll be jumping on another bird to play two festivals in Australia. You can find us at the West Coast Blues N’ Roots Festival in Fremantle on March 23, and at the Byron Bay Bluesfest on March 28 – 30.
