on facebook I read all the comments on the GPN fan page regarding the GMA performance. a few people said this will be their crossover into COUNTRY music!! from pop to country....am I in bizzarro world?!!

have to say while I"m not a huge fan of the new songs...they stick in your head like glue. loved Grace's dress!

Maybe they were influenced by the news that Grace will be doing a duet with Kenny Cortez . . umm , Kenny Chesney, on his next album. :D

As a general statement - I am not a fan of country music . .
and then there is the inevitable 'but' . .
The country vibe I was getting was the crux of my initial resistance to Things I Never Needed . . which has now been granted permanent favorite status.
All part of the " A good song is a good song " and listening outside the boxes thing.

Country. As far back as 2006 I wrote that several of Grace's songs should be picked up by a country artist. Hard to imagine a group crossover, but it worked for Darius Rucker...

BTW, the story that Kenny Chesny was on his boat when he heard GPN and Grace sing is true.
