A special issue of Spin magazine was in my mailbox yesterday - "What NEVERMIND Means Now." I was not into that music at all, but I like reading music and band history. And I do like some of Dave Grohl's recent stuff. There are memories of the album from sources as disparate as Bob Nastanovich, Flea, Eddie Vedder, Wayne Coyne, Peter Buck, Jeff Tweedy, Dave Grohl, author Meghan O'Rourke ("The Long Goodbye"), and a comic strip by Jonathan Bennett (& many other contributors).

Karen: Check your post, At first I thought Spin was about Michael Jackson's old residence, now that he is gone :)

Last night at Soundgarden's L A show, Grohl was in the front pit with the other fans, just like a regular guy.

Thanks for catching that Dave. :o. I'm on cell phone today- tiny screen, tiny letters. Got it right second time at least.

Thanks also for sharing that cool picture! What fun. I liked Dave Grohl on Vh1 Storytellers. He talked about "My Hero" and walked out into the audience as they sang the song along with him. It was quite moving.
