My first introduction of "Medicine" was a Youtube video with Grace accompanying on an organ. It was a defintive blue's rift and indicative of early Potter. I caught GPN at Infinity Hall 20 miles West of Hartford. There, she brough the flying V guitar for Medicine. Does anyone know why they released the cut with less pronounced blues rift for the more rock guitar?

The only thing I can think is purely demographics. I think early Potter tended to sound more blues-y which held to a middle age (and less volume) demographic. Does anyone else feel that the band has moved away from their more blues origins for larger (and younger) demographic bases of rock?

I hope they re-release Medicine with a heavier blue's tone for us middle age guys who prefer early Potter.

BTW. If GPN ever graces (no pun) the stage back at Infinity Hall, you have to go. A great venue. Go early and enjoy a pint next door.
