Thank you so much for that post. Everyone should watch it! I love the way she describes things in her own way "put it in the fridge..."

I love that she knows the demographics in Burlington and what she is trying to create at Grand Point, shows mucho respect to her own.

She is soooo good in front of the camera! She could really do anything she wants and more! I wonder whats next, and can't wait for the new CD! Psychedelic disco rock? Not sure what the "disco" in it is - not a big fan of disco - perhaps she means the danceability of the songs. Psychedelic rock aka Led Zepplin? - that would be an awesome collaboration - Grace and Robert Plante! I kind of remember an interview long ago where she said that would be her fantasy collaboration. On another note, Norah Jones just put out an album of collaborations, just bought it. Haven't listened yet.

Let the gnashing of teeth begin re: The New Album. A May 1, 2012 (yes, a Tues) (just my guesstimate) release means that the countdown begins at 268 days. Sure would like to see a concurrent/subsequent (double) live album release, as long as we're dreaming about future albums.

I'm assuming the (G)rand (P)oint (N)orth (ahhh- I get it!) festival will be a huge success so I just put in for vaca for the 2nd and 3rd week of Aug next year, and I'll camp at the same CG I did during summer when I was a wee lad. Hopefully I've guessed right re: GPN Festival 2012.

wise investment Jackie! that cd is sik.

Norah also has a bunch of bonus stuff and deluxe edition albums on i-tunes. should check it out when you have a few minutes. some of the live stuff from NYC and a studio version or 2 of the country tunes...i'm pretty sure some of those tracks feature Cat on bass ("Live at the Living Room") its on the Deluxe Edition of "Norah Jones, The Fall"

-im going to edit that and say i'm really not sure if Cat is on those tracks or not-

and also on i-tunes is " Norah Jones i-tunes originals" which is a mix of awesomeness with interviews mixed in and Norah talks about the "Featuring" CD Jackie just bought. more parts of that inverview with Norah are on Youtube and she has a differnt video to introduce each collaboration. the one with Ryan Adams is hillarious!

I can't wait for next May!

Grace has a great presence in front of the camera. She is so natural. She might well branch out into tv or film. She has acting experience.

Time for my "Apologies."

May 1 is only MY guess - she said she wanted it to be done in the spring so they would have new material for next festival season. I have no inside info.

But I'm still excited.
