Lilith almost looks like a mini-vacation for the group.....play six tunes and youre outta there!!
Plenty of time for whiffleball!!
Thats one reason I dont much like festivals.....sets are too short for everyone....

The afternoon music lineup in Lilith Village culminated with a rousing performance by Vermont (http://content.usatoday.com/topics/topic/Places,+Geography/States,+Territories,+Provinces,+Islands/U.S.+States/Vermont)'s Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. With her commanding voice and saucy black flapper dress, the fiery blond frontwoman managed to generate a ripple of energy through the docile audience as she lead her hirsute male bandmembers (and brunette bass player Catherine Popper) through a strong set that was worthy of a slot on the main stage.

Lilith in Denver (w/o GPN) have dropped the price of lawn seats to $10 with no service charges at the moment. Nice that USA Today noticed GPN, and I hope they do get moved up the bill to main stage.

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals started what promised to be a blistering set as the final act to play a side stage. Unfortunately, after two songs, the media were taken en masse to the aforementioned news conference.

Hirsutism is a symptom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symptom) rather than a disease (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disease)
I think the issue we're dealing with is this . . . . a symptom of "what" exactly? Although the fact that there are indeed "Pharmacological treatments" is promising.

Among the buzz-worthy rising stars is Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, whose soulful, self-titled fourth album was released by Hollywood Records last month. And in the days leading up to the festival, Potter checked in (from her hotel bathtub, no less) to talk about girl power, new songs and her love of Phish.
[QUOTE]What kind of a set are you rehearsing for this tour?
I cater to the audience based on what I see from Twitter comments and people kind of leading up to the day of the show, any press or people will call in or write in and ask for certain songs. So I

....... began their set with the pulsating bass line and strong, steady drumming of “Gumbo Moon”, erupting with Grace Potter’s monstrously powerful voice. Their wall of sound carried through the entire park, turning heads in their direction, and temporarily calming the appetites of those waiting in line at the concession stands. Potter exhibited her undeniable vocal talent ........

GUMBO MOON!! wow it's been forever since that one came out to play - TFN you've been in the setlists the most lately - quick - when was the last time??
Thanks for the great updates - kudos to you for finding the fun while you are at the complete other end of this continent of ours from where our favorite band is playing. I am thinking this gig might be to the chagrin of some of the bandmates - playing for Lilith that is - seeing as 3/5 are dudes out of the group.
But from the buzz about the band at the fair- that may actually be in their favor - I sure hope it gets them a bunch of new fans from a different fan base and that the dudes are getting some love from the ladies!!

Agreed, being a guy at a concert with 10,000 people - 70% of whom are women? That's gotta suck.

If you read the article eric pulled over from facebook - it appears that the question has been popped. I don't always believe everything I read - but in this case - I hope so!

the ring on graces finger did not appear to me to be an engagement ring or wedding band. that said, it has gotten attention recently from other fans that may be more famillar w grace and it seems like whatever the ring is, it might be new. the ring in aspen was the gold one that is about the size of a wedding band but looked to have some sort of dark stone in it like maybe black or dark green?
but i couldnt see how its not true if it says that in this article, seems like the first public aknowledgment of it. maybe on her bday?

Here's where I first saw "the ring" on Grace's index finger - the show is Ridgefield Playhouse - March 12th - perhaps a valentines day gift? I'm a romantic so I hope a proposal went with it, and I'll add my congrats and best wishes to the longtime couple too!

the Gorge is an absolutely stunning venue.
the grass hills are very steep - but the views from the top at sunset are amazing.
center section B, row 21 center is perfect :) (no view of the Columbia from down front tho)
I like it better than Red Rocks - your mileage may differ.
i have been to the gorge as well. a very cool venue, as the whole place is in what used to be underwater thousands of years ago. the sunset is priceless and when i saw phish there they played divided sky right when half the sun was over the horizon, was pretty cool. still red rocks is my #1, it is just a different level of spirituality. the sun sets there too, and there are crazy lightning storms and purple clouds and all over denver. the gorge is my #2 unquestionably
