Could somebody post the clips(s) from Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight as they become available including him talking to the band if he does?
I don't think I can watch the show tonight.

If they do 2 songs? Paris and what else?

not sure what the kimmel gig will consist of. paris should be a lock, other than that id like to see goodbye kiss on TV next or another one short night after the epic good morning america version...but for kimmel my bet would be paris and if theres more prob medicine

Well I watched it but can't find any clips online yet.
Wow. They got major airtime. They rocked Paris again and did a little jam session again, this time at the start of it.
Then they closed the show with Medicine. I think that song really showed what GPN are about and will benefit the group greatly. They played a great portion of
the song as the credits rolled. They said the rest would be available on the Kimmel website. Like on Leno, everybody got some facetime. The girls looked great
again in their minis. I think this band is destined to be the next best thing. it's coming.

I've been saying all along that "Medicine" is the rocker that will make people take notice.....kinda like Susan Tedeschi and Rock Me Right, back in the day.......

well i am usually as nocturnal as the next guy or more, but monday nights are rough and i do confess i passed out waiting up for this one. and i cant tune in to vids until i go home later. seems like it was a smashing success though, i expect they will land SNL by the end of the year or very soon after

They also have Paris up on Jimmy Kimmel Live website. That rocked too! What a treat! Grace looks very thin! Usually TV puts 10 pounds on you! And those legs! You go gettem' girl! You can tell she's been working hard out on the road - she looks and sounds great! In fact the whole band looked very HOT!

I wonder if a cool host like Kimmel would ever ask the band to stick around and play a few more numbers after the show. I mean, they are all set up. The audience at Kimmel was all pumped up. Grace and the Nocturnals seem like cool people. You'd think they'd just stay there and play their usual encore numbers.

This band is on fire. I still can't believe I got to see them in person at KC Crossroads with virtually only a couple hundred people max there. I was fortunate. SNL has to have this band next season I'd think. Who is a better live band?

GaryJohn as i posted last night, as luck would have it, you saw one of the top 5 or 10 GPN shows of the year on 7-8-10 in KC. im sure u have been listening to the recording, but if u have been caught up with other shows def go back to it.

i went to the 2 shows right before that in CO. and of course they were great, in addition to my personal experiences there which of course enhanced it all (no, not drugs! just the au natural melting of the facial features)... but they left a few bullets in the revolver and after a luxurious day off in one of the greatest towns in the universe (uh huh, denver ;-) followed by a headlining spot at crossroads i knew u had a hot one coming your way. every show has been rock solid balls 2 the walls, so for the few of 2010 that stand out for me, i think that says alot.

and SNL will let them play several tunes for the live audience, and air maybe 2-3 of them. the big question is will Grace and the band be in a skit? and will my man Justin Timberlake (SNL cameo/resident) join them? (THERE, i said it. what can i say the guy is a legend and an amazing performer)

just like you said, most of the time for the live audience at a tv gig, they will get an extra one or two songs that dont make the show, maybe more. (like a house band that keeps playing during the commercial break), but all shows are different. not sure about Leno, Kimmel, Ellen and all that...we got 2 on GMA and Kimmel -that might be all they did. sounds like the next Leno show will feature extensive face (and song) time from Grace and presumably the rest of them? possibly playing w the house band or AS the house band? i didnt follow all that but any version of that story sounds pretty crazy. there are ALOT of people watching that show. If Grace or GPN is on for an hour that is HUGEness

Eric - your excitement is infectious! makes me smile for sure - about the next leno thing - from what's been posted - this looks like a Grace Potter only sit in with the house band.

What does that mean exactly? I sure am wondering - but it sounds fantastic and I really really do hope Jay will have her for a sit down and a little interview too - Grace does interview so well - it's always entertaining!

I couldn't make it last night, either - set the DVD player and turned in early. Up at 5 am, expecting to see GPN; but I was so tired, I had set it for Jimmy Fallon. However, didn't get upset because of the certainty that it would be here. Thanks. All you folks who have loved "Paris" for so long are certainly justified.

i finally saw the vids. rowdy medicine, that sure went over well! and paris, of course a great choice. and now when people go 2 u tube that they will see the recent studio video as well as the hotel room and the rest.

to clarify what i wrote below, i actually think only one song aired on GMA (tiny light) and then that sik one short night (perfectos) was internet only, i could be wrong but pretty sure. seems like w the web these days, those extra tunes a band plays during commercials would leak out quik if the network didnt just post on their own site-so i dont think we will be missing out on too much, or have so far.

as for the house band thing i dont think anyone will know until it airs what exactly is going on there. i do know warren haynes and friends (friends rotating thru the gigs) did the house band thing for last call with carson daily for several nights bak in 05. during that week i saw a variation of that lineup Warren dubbed "one night only" at the bowery. was crazy. a friend of mine went to one of the last call shows filming.

widespread panic also recently was the house band for a cnn morning edition, and appeared animated on squidbilies on adult swim (which was beyond hillarious)

as 4 grace and Leno sounds like a slightly different deal but who knows. would be crazy if GPN was the house band for the night or one hour or whatever. if its Grace and the Leno band that should be a ton of fun too, and i have no idea what to expect
