Binky :)
The Nocs have done 23 shows in the last month, and 40 shows in the last 60 days, with at least 10+ radio shows.
I'm thinking they take a little (well-deserved) rest...

Europe is not in the cards for the near future. R&R for sure for most of the band with Matt and Grace working hard in Hollywood. The new movie will be released soon.

SGN probably means "Tangled" . . Disney's new movie based on the Rapunzel fairy tale being released November 24th
Grace's "Something That I Want" plays during the ending credits
IMDb didn't have full details yet but here's the movie's wiki page . . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tangled_%282010_film%29

Funny thing - the leading man kind looks like Matt with shorter hair -- sort of has his mischieveness and sense of humor with "smoldering" good looks.

I love it!! She's definitely better (delivery-wise) than Rachel Ray. She just seems so at ease!!! Cabot needs to think about making this into a 30 min show. Maybe get all the Nocs involved since I'm sure each does some kind of cooking while on the bus.......why not film it and make it into a show??? They all have great personalities including Ben and Sam. What's not to like??

Wally, that is a great idea ... Cabot could even take it a step further and approach one or more of the networks that host food shows.
There has been a proliferation of cooking contest shows since Top Chef's first season - some good - some not so much - but obviously it is a popular format. So how about a (non-chef) celebrity cooking competition show ?
Bravo, HGTV's food channel, or the Travel Channel * could do a great job with some type of "celebrity in the kitchen" series.
Ack, now I want these shows !!!
(* yes the Travel Channel - they have several interesting ones )

Since you're on the subject:
This is my Grace Potter grilled Cabot cheese and apple sandwich. Got home late last night, made one and ate it right away cause no dinner yet, then made this one for lunch today – pretty good warmed up in the microwave. Didn’t have the right bread (used oatnut bread, but it’s not thick enough), no pepper jelly, and no truffle oil (used walnut oil instead). Grace inspired me, and the directions were good.

They have supported some tours, with free cheese at shows. Below are some pics from my travel LA to Fillmore last December. There is a bus pic in the set.

Cool! I've seen Cabot at a few shows, but didn't know the exact nature of the relationship ... figured it was a sponsorship of some sort. Loved Grace with the giant inflatable Cabot cow at Waterfront '09 and got some freebies at one of the Boston HOB shows. I told the folks at the Cabot table in the VT building at the Big E that I liked their cheese because they supported Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and then I had to tell the ladies who GPN were because they had no idea what I was talking about ... any excuse to talk about the band.
I did make the apple cheddar sandwich tonight, by the way, and it was darn good - an amazing accomplishment from one who does not cook, so Grace is a great teacher and an inspiration to those of us who are culinarily challenged.
November sure is going to be a long month of talking about cheese with no new shows! Gotta love Cabot, though ... any sponsor of GPN will have my business!

Favorite part of the cooking w/Cabbot vids is how sharp she keeps her knives ... Might have to deal w/plastic utensils ... But she gonna sharpen them dang knives! Respect
cabot appears to be at the top of their list of "endorsements"
