Now, isn't that a spectacular headline.
Or it could be.
Having Oprah Winfrey and her roadshow here in Australia is good for some, having Bon Jovi touring here this week is great though.
But having the USA's 'best kept secret' tour here in 2011 would be even better.
I think the USA has hogged this band long enough, so how about sharing.
We'd even be willing to share with our Kiwis brothers across the pond here, to make it an even bigger tour.
So, how about it GPN?
Isn't it time to spread your wings.

I totally agree with Vincew and I volunteer to travel along and "document" the trip. I've spent plenty of time in both countries so my experience speaks for itself.
Barring traveling, an extended stay in the Whitsundays would be acceptable.
Thank you

Hi Vincew! I'm afraid you'll have to get in line ... German fans have already come to the USA to make their case in person. Of course ... There's no reason they couldn't hit Germany on their way to Australia ... As part of a world Tour! It's bound to happen sooner or later ... Just hope you can last until you see them! Good luck ... If I win the lottey I'll be seeing you at a Grace Potter & The Nocturnals show in Queensland!

We're not greedy over here, and it doesn't surprise me there is a long line to wait in.
Those German fans that travelled all the way to the US to see GPN must be hard core fans alright, and good luck to them for taking the opportunity.
GPN's tour history only shows one international concert outside of the US/Canada way back in 2005, for a one night only in Japan.
And your right, it is bound to happen sooner or later, so it's only a question of when.
I just hope it's well before we're all old enough to be in wheelchairs going out on our Nursing Home outing to 'Morning Melodies with Grace', and GPN are coming through at the 'Fat Elvis' end of their careers.
Wouldn't that rot your socks.

Vince - I have friends in Australia and know how much the Australians love their rock and roll, plus I'm a big Pink fan, and Aussies have embraced her, so when I had a chance to talk to Grace on Nantucket this summer with her sister Charlotte, I told her that I predicted she would be huge in Australia! I think this will happen. Spread the word! Stay positive. Supply and demand, right? If record sales go crazy over there, you'll be seeing the Nocs in person! In the meantime, we have thisissomewhere.com vids to help minimize the cravings!

Thanks Jackie, that's pretty sage advice.
And your right, I also believe that GPN will be huge in this part of the world in time.
My only concern is the current lack of promotion over here, considering that I only found out about this band quite by accident myself.
Word of mouth is a pretty slow way unfortunately to promote anything.
But I will continue to be positive, and anyone lucky enough to be travelling in my car gets to listen to a revolving GPN CD.
So meanwhile, I'll continue to do my bit to boost sales.

I have been telling my Aussie friends about GPN for years! They have a great rock heritage of their own from DiVynls and early INXS to Orinathi Panagaris.
