Mention this band because they're good, at least in the past and for another reason.

The net as it has become has alot good things going for it but the hugh size of it and the total information out there is all most overwhelming. Thus I have come to rely on others to help find the good stuff without having to look at everything first hand myself, but this goes for anyone, who can view all the stuff out there good or bad!

This would mean you better do well at picking the ones who you might look at their recommendations, GPN fans looked to me to be a good source, and they have.

All this BS leads to why I looked at this band, looking at the comments people posted about Graces' jam session for the " Cortez the Killer " song, one guy stood out for his string of postings of insane criticism of everyone involved seems like he couldn't just let it go. I know the best thing to do is ignore BS like this but sometimes you learn something from even the most harsh critics. Was curoious to see what this one nut did like, so went to his page. Looked at his comment section and found one band that he couldn't rave enough about, Echo and the Bunnyman!

Echo and the Bunnyman, WTF what a stupid name, with this guys recommendation they must be lame! Them it hit me, WTH I've see that name somewhere, just couldn't dial it up, the old brain gears are slowing down, how the hell do you remember to remember? Then it came to me, it was one of the band members, someone had it on their bio page! from this site.

Found it on Cats' page list on favorite albums: Echo and the Bunnyman: Ocean Rain, well OK, from what little I know about Cat, one thing I get from GPN fans is she has her s--t together and is kool about it.

So I went to Y Tube and checked out some videos that had alot of good info in the comment section,

Watched : " Killing Moon", one from 1983 or 84 era also " All My Collours (Zimbo)" same era

These guys have a unique sound, great time lines by drummer and bass. Alot of people think the drummer Pete De Freitas would be one of the greatest drummers in rock history. Just one problem, he was killed in motorcycle accident at age 27 and had only 4-5 yrs with band. At one time U2 opened for them, think they took the 3 foundational legs of rock at that time- sex, drugs, and rebellion as something you had to over indulge in to be authentic rockers, plus smoking a shit load of cigarettes while on stage. Some members still at it but maybe their peak was in the '80s. Will listen to some of the new stuff soon.
