It seems unlikely that the L.A. Weekly would be wrong..
Maybe GPN is trying to coordinate it with the Lilith Fair west coast swing ending 7/3 at the Gorge in WA.
To bad for me, if true. I have three of us going Tuesday.
Then... Why are tix still available on ticketmaster, etc. So late to postpone.
I will be all over this, and post when I find out anything more. Roxy Concert Hotline is from last Tuesday.

Didnt make much sense to do a one night stand on the left coast while in the midst of an eastcoast tour.....

Agreed...
I wondered why all along. I made plans to go anyway.
I am sure, or at least hope that there was a better reason that that.
Why was it ever scheduled, and then cancelled two days before the show?
Really thou, I don't think about it. I must trust that they had good reasons.

So, the day of the Roxy show has arrived!!!!
Oh, shit, that's right it was only a dream I had. I should have picked a different handle.
Of course I am quite bummed that they cancelled this show, and it will not be the same as a CD release day show if/when they return to the Roxy. On the other hand, since they are now showing up in Burlington instead, I say these guys need some R&R at home before the month of July wears them down. I grew up in New England and can see the benefits. I must empathize with traveling from city to city, day after day, and keeping in top form and presenting such enthusiasm on stage for two hours. Long May They Run.
