Mobile Show

I saw the show in Mobile last night and thought it was GREAT! I was the old gray haired geezer standing by the B-3 surrounded by youngsters on the front row. This band has the most talent and energy I've seen in years. Grace has a great vocal range and a presence that just controls the crowd. Excellent guitar work by everyone, no weakness anywhere. And Matt the drummer didn't stop smiling the whole night. These guys are so tight and appear to totally love what they are doing together. They played all my favorites and ended the night with Big White Gate. I only have one suggestion. Add a version of Piece of My Heart by Big Brother and the Holding Company to your show. Maybe, alternate it from show to show with White Rabbit. Thanks for doing such a great job.

Welcome LinJ. Your recap of your show made me smile. . . and you're not the only one with gray hair around here. :D

Grace tweeted the setlist , but , as you can see, there are some unknowns. Would you mind filling us in on a few things ?

_ You and Tequila . . is it correct to assume this was a Grace and Scott duet again ?

_" Watching You OR Sugar " . . . which one did they play ?

_ Big White Gate . . was it between NBTW and Medicine . . or did Medicine get dropped ?


That's what I know to ask from the photo . . . is there anything else ?

. . . but has Medicine as the only song played for first encore . . no Watching or NBTW

I have a less than stellar memory so fully appreciate how hard it can be to remember . . especially when GPN is melting the stage in front of you.

The bits & pieces do come together though and I'm told that's how setlist.fm is supposed to work - shared memory assists. :D

Lynda, I'd use the setlists that Grace posts as a guide. You and I both know she changes things on the fly so the final list is usually a bit diff from the original. I once had a set list that had 2 or 3 tunes on it that they didnt do!!

and...welcome LinJ...from another balding grayhaired geiser.....being down on the rail with the young girls, were you "assaulted" like the "assaults" launched against Tedheadone?

Big surprise for the night. Being down front, the rail riders were mostly young guys. They outnumbered the girls about two to one. And Grace had them eating out of her hand. They would have fought wars on her command. A Great Night, everyone had a blast!
