If you don't watch either Stephen Colbert's or Jimmy Fallon's shows, here's the premise in a nutshell.

One of the most fun cross promotions ever done on TV started when Stephen Colbert auctioned off his portrait for Donor's Choose charity for $26,000 and decided to include his "new BFF" in the effort . . .

The project easily raised the required amount to make Colbert keep his part of the deal . . in fact, according to an update on Jimmy Fallon's site today, NBC kicked in another $26,000 and the grand total is now at $86,000.

Fallon does some great music bits on his show but he will be hard pressed to ever top this one . . watch for yourself . . .

I saw a tweet that said now we know why that horror ( Friday) was unleashed on the world !

Embedding Friday for those who have been fortunate enough to miss the buzz on the song that has been called the worst song ever - massive use of autotune being just one of the criticisms.
File under people are strange : the video has 80+ Million views . . guess it's sort of the Charlie Sheen of videos :p

If curious and want the whole story, Friday even has it's own Wiki entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friday_%28Rebecca_Black_song%29)

hooo-kay...
poor girl - I just watched and heard Friday for the first time here, thinking how bad can it be when the bar seems so low these days, and it's pretty durn awful in so many different ways. The Fallon / Colbert collaboration on the other hand is steller and for that I thank you TFN for sharing. Is it me, or has Jimmy Fallon taken up the lost Letterman MoJo from back in the early days when the show was new, fresh and crazy? I don't have a prayer of watching Fallon's show air in its time slot, but so many clips I see are laugh out loud funny.
