I haven't seen them, but wish I had been able to recently. There's a few on board here that were treated to a special show, perhaps they will chime in. For now - here's a taste:
If I were you - I would go!
Thanks, been checking out their site too. I marked in on my calendar to try to go. It is in a park in downtown Ridgefield so I plan to get there if timing works out. Those early park shows can be difficult to get to on time. But they appear to be making some headlines and this particular show was kept a secret until now. Will let you know if I get there and how the performance turns out.![]()
The David Wax Museum. Sweet, energetic, lyrical - fun. Check out a few live recordings here

They put on a fantastic show - don't miss it.
Yes, they look like a lot of fun and the show is in a family oriented setting in the town park. I plan on making it to the show, barring any conflicts. Thanks for the link.![]()
I recently seen them open for Josh Ritter at Daniel st. they were a lot of fun and check out the jawbone. First time I ever saw one played!
DWM...catch them in these small venues while u can, they are playing the Dave Matthews Caravan Fest in NYC
This from David Wax Museum mailing out today:
Hard to believe it's already May. Have you had a good spring so far? We've been eating our spring greens, practicing our leona licks, and soaking up sunshine (see photos below for proof!) We've also been putting the final touches on this new record of ours and gearing up for summer touring.
We start off with an enormous national tour with Joe Pug (which starts this Saturday in Chicago!). In preparation for this next leg, a good friend of ours just built us some new shelves in the back of our van to stay organized on the road. Which reminds us that we never announced the winner of our Van Naming Competition. (See below for details [And the winner is.....El Burro Blanco])
Other excitement: Today we posted a sneak preview of one of the songs from the new record. And we just found out we'll be heading back across the pond in October, this time a three-week tour opening for the Carolina Chocolate Drops in the UK and Europe!
Then lots of pictures and stuff, most of which is likely here, along with videos: davidwaxmuseum.com
Plus a link to a concert at The University of Chicago

Dave Wax Museum will be performing at The Clearwater Festival -- June 16-17 -- Croton-On-Hudson, NY. I believe they play Sat night.
Yes...I did part Dave Wax part Deer Tick...but by that time I knew Dave & Suz were going to be back in Ridgefield for the FREE Chirp shows! It's on my calendar in August! My husband saw Deer Tick when he was in Vegas for a business trip and skipped Dave Wax all together...but to be honest, I was not so impressed with them. And someone posted pics of Dave & Suz in the tree....I should have stayed to the end!
WE DID SEE PETE SEEGER JOIN ARLO & FAMILY AT THE END OF THE WOODY TRIBUTE SAT NITE....THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!![]()
Correction for anyone local to Ridgefield, CT...David Wax will be doing the free CHIRP concert on JULY 12th.
