I think Mark is referring to how GPN's songs evolve as they are played over time at their shows. There is an audio file of the song on TIS and some of the comments mention that too ..

I hope it doesn't evolve too much b/c i love the song as is. Will have to buy the new cd when it comes out. I don't think the song can sound any better. I listened to it a ton of times. A ten is a 10. I know it might not be as catchy as some of their other songs but to me this song is excellent in every aspect. Look forward in hearing it live. I wish them the best success with their new album!

That's exactly what makes this band so brilliant. Every time I think they can't possibly sound any better, they add something else to their endless bag of mindblowing tricks and my jaw is on the floor all over again. With GPN, a 10 becomes an 11, becomes a 12, becomes a holy **** I can't ****ing believe it, becomes a somebody call me an ambulance because my heart just stopped from shock! And then it gets even better!

I by no means trashing the song, I really liked it but the way this band can take a song and keep em fresh, expand them, tighten them up.... it can only get better. I'm a newbie around here compared to most but probably have watched as much youtube videos etc than most have in the past 10 months. GPN amazes me how they are growing.
Bad Champagne is in the infant stages, when it learns to crawl, walk and run.... watch out!
I really liked the other new song they played earlier this summer "Man". It will be a show stopper one day

I hear you. Maybe they could make it better. I'm on the fence on that one though. If they can, more power to them. But I couldn't be happier about the song. Some songs I can relate to but this one is 100% on point. It's heartfelt. I do agree this band gets better and better. They have grown on me. I am a fan.

I think "Man" is destined to be a GPN signature song like "Paris". The lyrics are pure Grace... sassy and sensitive.
