YESSSSSSSSSS! Tour 2012 is officially announced!
I'm **almost** ready for a new tour/album. The announcement comes tomorrow, exactly 2 years after their last show in Buffalo. During this GPN downtime, I've been listening to a few of those November '09 Bruce shows that I attended, and am still so completed satiated that I still don't have the tour juices flowing. I'm getting closer, for sure. I hope the new record rocks, hard & loud. Maybe this will be the tour when I head to Barcelona & see Bruce w/ all those crazy Spaniards.
Yes I saw one of the shows at MSG, 11-7-2009 and have been patiently waiting for their return....I am always ready for his tours! Although I am a pretty recent fan since 2006.....it is bittersweet w/o Clarence, but I love Bruce and hope I get to see this tour!! We were GA pit 2nd row standing and I actually held his hand during Rosalita!!And i just downloaded one of the philly nov shows, not sure if that was posted by you.....and have not had a chance yet to listen to the whole thing. BUT....I love the acoustic songs!
Yeah! Last time I saw him was 2009 Hard Rock Calling, looks like next time will be Hard Rock Calling too.
What a gig that was, first time I ever saw the Dave Matthews Band, who were incredible. That was weird as I was expecting them to be very poor, lol.
hey all u Springsteen fans, back in September Aoife O'Donovan (of Crooked Still) performed the album "Nebraska" in its entirety, solo/acoustic at this tiny bar in New York. it was pretty awesome. here is the link to the mp3s of the whole show, cheers

oh yeah, saw first on FB by a friend and then checked them all out! I especially liked this one even though it is short.
PS--Great sax player, maybe Bruce needs to steal him!

Of course no one can EVER replace the BIG MAN but I thougt this guy was great and had good energy, I could see a mesh with Bruce. I am kind of hoping they will do some type of duet with CC on the BIG screen....we saw Natalie Cole do that with her Dad, it was heart wrenching and a teary eyed experience....but I am still hoping for something similar with Clarence & Bruce.
A few months ago, I was pondering the same thing on a Springsteen message board that I frequent. It would be similar to how the Philadelphia Flyers use a video clip of Kate Smith singing God Bless America along w/ a live singer. It sounds cheesy, but I think the crowd would eat it up. Hopefully we'll have some answers soon, to the questions of North America tour dates, new album and replacement (if any) of Clarence.
here is a vid of Natalie w/dad and it is not even as good as live and in the small theater we saw her in last year when she did this performance.....but just saying something with CC on the sax with the band would be great.....I so wish I had video taped Natalie's duet, but unfortunately did not.......it was no way tacky or cheesy, it was beautiful. I am sure they could do something awesome with CC but then again, it may still be too emotional.....although I think it always be very emotional.

The man is certainly itching to get out on the road. My sources tell me the North American tour will be announced next week, with tix on-sale a week from today. 3/26/12 will be opening night of the tour.
He appeared w/ Gaslight Anthem in Asbury Park last night:

thanks for the 'rumor' .. will let the person on the other board know to be on the lookout
same Bruce / GA but this person was filming from a better spot . . audio a little better too (especially if you can do the HD setting)

Tongue in cheek: http://www.theonion.com/articles/bru...t-album,21358/
Tongue out of cheek: I purchased this Bruce Springsteen CD ($5 at local Rite Aid) because I don’t know his music at all, and want to see what all the shouting's about. Hopefully I will listen to it this weekend.*
* Spooky story about the CD: When I got it home in the early evening, I started to play it and then changed my mind. Turned off the Bose player. At about 3 am next morning, I woke up and heard rock music. Guest in the next room had set her new smart phone as an alarm clock the night before, but I didn’t think the phone could play music as an alarm tone. Went out into hallway and realized music was coming from the kitchen. The Bose was on and playing the third song – “Rendezvous (Live).”
