Friend of student to whom I gave my extra ticket for Of Monsters and Men last Monday is going to Albany concert also! He's about 5'9", dark hair, cute, and very talkative - say hi for me.
Oh, and have a great time.

Cue Pacino with the "Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in." quote.
Been many years and a couple of tours for the band since I last fed into my lifelong Springsteen addiction with a live show. But the enthusiasm around Wrecking Ball (both album and tour) made me ready when the devil appeared at the crossroads and took one of my Souls in exchange for late Albany tickets.
Great time, wasn't disappointed, and remain more firmly than ever in permanent awe of the Man.

Thanks so much Nancy - just added your Albany downloads to my favorites list for easy recall. Great camera work on 10th Ave, plus loved hearing Janey since it brought back the days of collecting true "B" sides from the 45 releases. Came across my handful (including this song) not too long ago.
Thanks, Nancy. I was near the back of the pit, dead center, for Albany. A buddy took a brief video during the crowd-surf, while I was directly beneath Bruce (and that full bottle of water he poured down his back 2 minutes earlier).

Thx, Nancy, luv Janey the whistling is so great! Thx for sharing all the pics and vids!
Have fun...I could have gotten end zone tickets lowers for MetLife, hubby said no way...and I did hear from one person who got sect 111 for one nite and 113 for another...that was pretty lucky! we were in 113 for U2. Well, enjoy. I am hoping for more arena shows in Oct/Nov...we'll see!
Woo-Hoo...finally going to Newark!!!
A webfriend was at Bruce's NOLA Jazz & Heritage show last Sunday and got some great shots. They stayed put after the Trombone Shorty and Dr. John sets before Bruce and ended up right behind the $$$ VIP section.
NolaMar's shots of Bruce bringing a kid up onto the stage and then lifting him up and putting him back are my favorites .. definitely unique, yes?

"Songs take a message directly to your heart. When you can't speak for yourself, sometimes a song can say something in three minutes that you've been trying to say all your life."
- Solomon Burke -
Yes, it was spectacular! And I had so much fun with new found friends and getting to meet Nick, The Big Man's son. Partied way too much and got no sleep...was a total basket case at work for the next 2 days....definitely low productivity. But so so happy I was able to go...an amazing Rosalita, my fave since having held his hand during that song in 2009! AND now I have GA's for Philly 9-3!!![]()
