well, they are not all paperless tix for these Bruce shows, many secondary markets have tix for ridiculous prices.....they prefer not to call themselves scalpers as they are not the actual ticket holders. i am baffled at how this can happen if it is suppose to be a paperless tour.

it's a good late night TV week for Bruce fansJimmy Fallon will pay tribute to Bruce Springsteen with a week-long musical celebration of the Boss bookended by two appearances by the man himself and the E Street Band.
Springsteen will appear on the program Monday and Friday sandwiching tribute performances by Kenny Chesney on Tueday and Elvis Costello on Thursday.
Plans for Wednesday night have not been revealed yet.
Friday’s episode, which marks the third anniversary of Fallon’s tenure as host, will feature Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band as the only guests.
info is from today's Hidden Track post :: Televised Tune: On the Tube This Week
okay, I have to admit it .. I'm a little bit amused by the Chesney connection

Yep, I have no cable TV and not able to tape it. Have been watching online..........here are some links for anyone wanting to watch. The line up actually was Bruce Monday w/two songs, Tues was Chesney, Wed was John Legend & Thurs Elvis Costello. Jimmy Fallon has an exclusive online of Elvis w/The Roots doing a cover of Fire that was actually a lot better than Brilliant Disguise. All is on Fallon online and Backstreets.com.

Lucky enough to be in Hartford back in 2000 when Darlington County took the long way getting there. I'm sure all the Bruce fans caught the Jimmy Fallon shows, but the E St Shuffle jam was a joy to behold.

Doing E Street Shuffle was very nice! And, a very nice version as well!
I remain a little worried about this tour; the new music sounds great (what I've heard of it). The band looks and sounds amazing. BUT... Is Tenth Avenue Freeze Out now gone forever? How do you perform that song without Clarence? What about Rosalita? Jungleland? Many if not most of my favorite live performances revolve around the interaction between Bruce and The Big Man, and Tenth Avenue Freeze Out is the mythology of their meeting. We had the good fortune of catching the next to last show, in Baltimore, in 2009, with that great sax solo in Jungleland for the last time. A concert I'll never forget.
I won't catch the first leg, but feel reasonably confident they'll be back in DC later this year or early next year. I'll probably be listening on Sirius Friday night for the Apollo show.
Tonight... in... J u n g l e.....laaaaaaaand!
I NEED TIX!!!!!!!!! Well, hopefully a miracle will happen! Otherwise, I too have to wait for Leg 2 of the US Tour! I think this one is going to be a little bit more like Seeger Sessions!
Just listened to the concert from the Apollo! Bruce finished with Tenth Avenue Freeze Out, done amazingly!
The show was great, but I was near tears when he sang "when the change was made uptown, and a big man joined the band..." followed by almost two minutes of near silence from the band as the crowd cheered. I didn't think he could do this live again, but he did. RIP, Big Man.
Fantastic show to listen-to over Al Gore's internets. Jake Clemons did well on his uncle's legendary solos. Rocky Ground was fantastic, as was Shackled & Drawn.
1st E-Street Band show since 1974 without Born To Run. 38 years.
Here's another great highlight:

Well I was near tears when I could not get hooked up to Sirius Online...but a tech finally got me in....and then the real tears came! What an EPIC night...lots of cool stuff coming up on YouTube now!! Now all I need to get are some tix....but this sure was great to hear a full LIVE show!!![]()
This is the second Sirius live concert I've listened to in my car (first was Umphrey's McGee at Brooklyn Bowl). The sound for both was pristine, and no distractions - love it.
Rolling Stone review - really this time

Heard a lot of doubt over the stylistic departure of Rocky Ground, but for me it's already a highlight song from this era of his career. And I am usually slow to warm to new material. Just now finally showing love to Things I Never Needed, instead of thinking of it as "that dreary album closer." Thinking some of the live acoustic versions out there allow the song to shine in a way the original recording couldn't do.
Correction: First ESB show in 23+years since Born To Run was not played. 10/15/88, the final show of the Amnesty International tour.

Think about that.
I don't think this is a BTR tour! The Rising and Seeger Session will prevail or at least in the beginning....just my opinion and why I WANT TIX FOR 1st LEG!!! I think there will be lots of E Street Shuffle with the band line up....I am no expert, but this is what I hope it will be!![]()
