I do know a good singer when I see one! Its usually a voice I can identify with. Right now I'm working on "Take It All" from Adele - the song haunts me. Can't wait for the new GPN songs! I need a fix, bad!!!!!
Guess I'll have to give another listen, maybe what seemed like alot of hype turned me off to her. Seemed like her and Florance Welsh got alot more raves than they deserved vs what Grace has gotten by the "so called music industry/fans" and maybe I over reacted to this. Guess there should be room for as many great new artists as we can get.
I don't want to hi-jack the thread further with a video so am just posting a link . . but go watch Adele's reaction to winning Album of the Year last night.
Have seen some of her interviews and she's as open and genuine as Grace . . . plus it's pretty hard not to love a gal who says 'snot' in a Grammy acceptance speech.

Good to hear about the new album and get some of the song titles. It's exciting that there was collaboration with Dan Auerbach. I saw the Black Keys in 2010 and was impressed by their musicianship.
Thanks for posting Adele's acceptance speech, toofar. I went to tv's blue screen when Nicki Minaj was performing (couldn't watch), and it lulled me to sleep. Didn't see anything after that, but was recording straight to dvd so I have it - plus two hours of whatever was on afterwards.
This interview was very good: 60 Minutes
Sorry Grace and Kenny didn't win, but there's still the Academy of Country Music Awards coming up.

ITS GOING TO BE A HUGE HIT!!!!
April 27th can't come fast enough.......
Finally had a chance to listen to this! OMG!!! PLEASE, Grace, we need a club date in DC. Soon. Without Kenny and Tim. Just you and the Nocs, with a rail.
Great sound. Loving it!
So true, markeb. When are they gonna play the 9:30 Club again?! I'm hoping they'll do some solo shows between tour stops.
I haven't been to either venue. Only time I've seen GPN was at the Virgin Mobile Free Fest. Personally, I'd rather they come to the 9:30 Club, just 'cause it's closer to home.
The album cover was just posted on facebook:

Looks like Amazon has finally provided a tidbit of info about the Deluxe Edition of the new album:
This DELUXE EDITION contains additional musical gems with rare and exciting duets with country crossover favorites such as musical pioneer Willie Nelson and popular country powerhouse Kenny Chesney.
I preordered the Deluxe CD, and also paid a little extra to have it delivered before or by the drop date. Willie Nelson duet is a definite plus.
