turns out my friend in CT did get me tix from another friend of theirs up there, once all the dust settled. so i wont have to go all samurai ninja at the box office for this one after all. still hope they play one in the city too

I didn't see anything published about that either. I emailed the festival organizer, and got this response:

Thank you for your note and yes, this event is for Greenwich residents by Greenwich residents. Having said that, there are a limited number of non-resident tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. What that number is, I cannot say. Non-residents must go to the Greenwich Town Hall, Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm, to purchase tickets.


I called the town hall to confirm and they did confirm, but I wasn't able to get up there to get them, and I'm sure the non-resident tickets are sold out too.

For anyone not able to get tickets, if you have a boat, canoe, kayak, raft, pool float, anything that'll get you out onto the water ... apparently this show will be broadcast to boaters in Indian Harbor.

well, we went on a wait list for 2 tix thru a friend who lives in Greenwich...but we have no idea when or if we will hear back. I knew it would sell out fast...not sure why my husband waited so long to ask his friend!! Oh well, there will be other times to see GPN...I would really luv to see Paul Simon!! And I do have tix for TTB in Sept! So we will just wait and see.....

No, I was never able to get tickets

I did get an email saying that I was put in a lottery with all the others on the waiting list and was picked. However, that day I was sitting next to a woman who worked for the Town of Greenwich at a Rivers Alliance conference. I was telling her how much I wanted to go, and by the end of the day I received the email.

I asked a couple of family members and I'm waiting for answers, but I may have an extra 1 or 2 tickets (only $40 each). My sister Tiffany is definitely coming - she's not afraid to stand for 3 hours for GPN and TTB. I purchased all 4 they offered.

Let me get back to you.
