My favorite new song is Fooling Myself & I had resolved myself to listening to the 12/27/09 live version when it wasn't included on the CD. Today I was on iTunes and when I went to the album, I found ithe iTunes version included a 14th song...Fooling Myself! I downloaded it & added it my iPod. So for those of you like myself who bought the CD from BestBuy to get the DVD,go to iTunes & download Fooling Myself...it is a beautiful song!
yes, fooling myself is a sweet spot on the record for sure. as well as live.
as Dollar said u can purchase/DL just one track from i-tunes so u dont have to DL the entire CD just to get Fooling Myself...same with the original "paris" which is the bonus trak of th i-tunes version of This IS Somewhere- u can just DL that one song-in both cases on line at i-tunes only. and for This Is Somewhere there were also other bonus tracks on the Japan release and a limited edition from Barnes and Nobles which are not on i-tunes. i am working on compiling all of that. (there were 4 or 5 bonus trax on TIS in all, including paris) there are some other cool tv versions and b-sides of Grace tracks on i-tunes and/or amazon. and dont forget the new mastersounds featuring Grace "nothing but the water" -super funky. i am going to try and get all of these extra songs on one mix/playlist once i have them all DLed and track down a couple old CDs. i just got an email today they sent out my Japanese This Is Somewhere from Japan.
still loving Low Road i have the bass line stuk in my head all day and night. nasty on the new CD and the Fillmore DvD
Dollar: I just went to iTunes to listen (downloaded album there, but have been listening to CDs). Thought I didn't know the song, but then realized that kc put it up on tis at least once some time back. Beautiful, but too sad for me today.

I didn't even know the song existed. I already bought the album from Best Buy and just decided to search it on iTunes for shits and giggles and saw this unfamiliar track listed at #14. It's no surprise that it is my current favorite. I think I've had 4 or 5 favorites in the past month. Just a gorgeous tune.

...correction this impromptu show was at the newer "Rockwood Stage 2" ...the original Rockwood venue that Cat played at is a different, slightly smaller space (right around the corner, i believe). i don't even think there is a such thing as the "Rockwood Music Hall" pretty sure i just made that up. this is 4-22-10, show #2 of 2 that day 4 GPN.(*update: actually the original venue is indeed called the Rockwood Music Hall)
anyway i think "Fooling Myself" has come a long way live since this performance, but it's still awesome
