Just a heads up for anyone who is going to this show.
The show is free, starts at 7:00pm and Grace and the Nocs will be first.
J J Mofro is scheduled to start at 9:00.

From what I have heard is that they keep these free open to the public shows pretty tight on the schedule.

I'm three hours from Savannah which means I probably won't make it in time for the 7:00 GPN show.... stinks.

Weather isn't looking too good right now.

And I wish I could get confirmation about who is opening... some say GPN plays at 7:00 yet some other interviews have indicated that GPN is "headling".

Thanks, should be a great show.

I had some friends down there and they said GPN just killed it. Some of his messages to me:

"I don't know the exact set list but the older one's were Paris, Ah Mary, Stop The Bus, Goodbye Kiss, Tush, Medicine, Apologies and Hot Summer Night. Several from the new CD; Never Go Back, TLTBTB, Stars, Time Keeper, Turntable, The Divide.... come to think of it thats' pretty much the list just not in order"

and the answer to my question: So it was a good show?
"And yes, really really good. The new bass player can get after it. I do miss Cat's presence, but tht guy is very good.. The band was tight as a drum and Grace was great as always...Sound was excellent"

And his FB post:
"What a great show from Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. These guys just get better and better. And they pass the true test: they sound just as good, or even better, live."

I think he and his wife really enjoyed it.

Dude... it kills me not to have been there.... but we gotta do what we gotta do and I needed to work.
Hopefully we will see some pics and video from Savannah...

Savannah was a dream, we even got there early and set up our chairs and watched the sound check, which really brings out the perfectionist leanings of the band. This was the best concert yet although we say that each time.
The new music is growing more and more polished as well as signature Nocturnal. But what kills me is the way they always bring it to 110% no matter what. I have no doubt we got the same effort those folks who paid 300.00 dollars in the stadium later at Tampa.
Stars brought tears to my eyes, and was new to me , if you have ever lost someone listen close. NBTW, always great, . The biggest surprise is how much the title song is growing on me. I love it. The new blends in well with the older and it was simple to see how they really have changed very little. I was glad they sang Ah Mary, but I do wonder if they can pull that off in Tim/Kenny country,maybe they can leave that gem for just us. She did remind us all it was the official first concert of summer...

Just heard the new album on FB...AWESOME...Stars brings tears to my eyes too! And some of the songs give me chills just listening to Grace's awesome voice...can't wait to hear these songs LIVE!
