Twitterverse is blowin up about this 2hour plus show tonight !! Atlanta- Please share!!
More later but it was an incredible show, the best I have seen yet....ghe Tabernacle was packed and about to explode. From the time the band sprinted on stage to when Matt finally destroyed the drum set and did suicide jump off the drum riser some 145 minutes later it was on.
I got several of my request played including Fooling Myself, just a great great night in hot Atlanta.

This was a great show Mark, also the best I have seen so far. Fooling Myself was also one of my requests. My sound came out freaky due to the proximity of the speakers, and Matt is without a doubt my favorite drummer. EVER. This ole lady wants a drum stick bad.
They just keep getting better and better, it is unbelievable.
The best part for us is meeting so many nice people, from so many diverse backgrounds, all brought together by good music.
Gosh, I love my home state , and I hope they keep coming back!
We are lucky enough to go to the Ryman next week, but I can not imagine anything topping last night. These will have to hold me through the fall/winter.
Awesome show last night! Here's a couple pictures

Great pictures Heath. Sorry we didn't hook up but glad that you got your spot up front.
This was our first visit to the Tabernacle and it lived up to the hype I had heard over the years. Great venue, great acoustics and dang if the band didn't just seem to love playing there. Cindy and I got there about 7:10 and the line in was around the block, once the doors opened we made our way up to the second floor and snagged some seats. (My wife broke some toes and such a couple weeks ago so trying the floor was out). Rayland Baxter opened and was really cool, great voice, neat tone and great songs. His band was tight and they sounded great.
I always dig the anticipation before an event, doesn't matter if it is a concert, a kickoff, a first pitch, the green flag... the crowd anticipation is so cool. ESPECIALLY when the place is getting frickin electric... when the lights dimmed and Benny came across the stage and Scott stepped out waving to the crowd the place went nuts. The first notes of TLTBTB sent it even further.. WOW.
Some highlights of my highlights (as there were a bunch)
TLTBTB- Great opener.. sets the tone
Turntable- Silly lyrics aside, this is a great live tune, pushing the throttle some more
Timekeeper- One of my wife's favorites and when I told her Grace was taking request she asked me to put on there .cool
Joey- another one of my request... just love it
Runaway-one of my favs off the new CD and a great live tune... another one I requested
Fooling Myself- One of my request also. Grace said that this was one of more "obscure, weird request" that they received for a song that was a B side on a record they released earlier" .. a BIG HIGHLIGHT! It was wonderful.
Tiny Light- MASSIVE finish, Benny and Scott were on fire tonight. Incredible
Sugar- one of my GPN alltime favorite songs and tongiht's version was sweet.
Why Don't You Love Me? A nice surprise.. didn't expect it. Grace got the crowd up and bouncing. Cool
NBTW 1- Electric Slide... in the Tabernacle with all that wonderful acoustics. Spine tingling...
NBTW2- wide open now... Scott and Benny dueling with Michael just laying an incredible line.
The Divide- This IS THE SONG I have been waiting to hear since the release of the new CD. Majestic Magic.
Stop The Bus- 2 plus hours in and this is the closer. My goodness .... stings breaking, Scotty up on the riser, Grace up on the riser with Michael, Benny about to explode, Matt knocking over drums and cymbals... trashes the set and then jumps/dives/falls/flips over the drum set off the riser. DONE, FINISHED, EXHAUSTED/SATISFIED.
Incredible show...
Here is Stop the Bus (wish he had gotten Matt's gymnastics)

Awesome review Mark! Matt jumping over his drums was one of the highlights for me too!
