"Medicine" itself has gone through many conceptual changes.

from what i recall how i understood it is that the T-Bone album was supposed to be called "Medicine." That album has been shelved for now (on the "middle burner" as Grace says) but i imagine they will be calling it something else when it does finally get released.
Im not sure when Grace wrote the lyrics but Scott and Matt wrote the music for the song "Medicine" right around the time Grace decided to hold off on the T-bone album and just tour and make a new album with the Nox (Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, produced by Mark Batson, not T-Bone)- and the song Medicine wound up on that album.
there are a couple of interviews/videos online where Grace goes into detail about the T-Bone album, but those are from before plan B came along...so they should really take those videos down, as they are the source of much confusion
