listened to this show last night, some of the best stuff ive heard from GPN, ever. the STB>1 heart missing>(9 minute) divide is seamless and totally epic. it almost sounds like they are going to start 2:22 and they drop the super heavy "divide" instead. there is also a vid of Grace singing "gimmie shelter" with moe. on youtube, Dino posted the link in the www.thisissomewhere.com comments

Does the Divide freeze up on the download?
When I listen to the link, to hear the song, it freezes up shortly into the instrumental.
There is also a comment posted pointing this flaw out.
I'll probably download it anyway.

Eddie, i saw that comment too, but im not having any problems on my i-mac or even my shitty work pc. im wondering if you guys are talking about the first minute of the song? i am pretty sure that is Benny and maybe Scott getting nasty on their effects pedals (playing with the controls). it was definitely pouring rain and tapers have issues sometimes at these long festivals, changing batteries and such, but im not hearing any digital noise or freezing up...there's no fades or anything. unless i am missing something but whatever the case this recording overall is fantastic, and i would accept what has been posted as the final product. is it a technical issue? is it just Benny riding his analog delay harder than john deere rides a lawn tractor? hey, i really couldn't say but what ever it is, it sounds pretty tight to me! maybe one of the tapers on this forum can chime in and speak to that. or someone that was at the show, close enough to the stage and may have actually seen what they were doingOriginally Posted by Fast_Eddie
It does freeze on the site ... out of the 5 plays I've done, Divide stalled the 1st and 3rd time.
The inconsistency seems sort of weird, or at least I haven't had it happen like that before on LMA.
Was thinking the glitch had been fixed since last 2 times were okay and was going to download .. but if it just happened to you again ...
ETA: Am stuck at my desk for a while so will try a download .. can always delete that track if it doesn't work right .. rest of set is still more than worth having.
ETA 2: Eddie, I don't have time to play the whole download, but did try Divide and it's fine. .. so grab away.

I finally got to listen last night and i think the recording is 100% clean on this. It's definately Benny (I think) or Scott going nuts on the effect pedals. This is a great version of The Divide and overall a really, really good show. I see what you mean eric about thinking they were going to do 2:22. Thats the same kind of stuff they were doing with that on the last tour. really nice stuff!
