Forum Guidelines
Welcome to the message boards for Grace Potter & The Nocturnals fans. In order to maintain order, civility, and foster a sense of community among the members here, we have laid out a few guidelines that we respectfully ask you to abide by.
These message boards are offered as an opportunity to discuss the music and related topics of Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, by their fan community. We ask that you give special attention to the following message board rules of conduct when participating:
Keep It Clean
Please refrain from posting sexually explicit or derogatory comments. Please also refrain from linking to sites that host such content.
Be Respectful
Please avoid personal attacks, name calling, slander, slurs, and profanity in your messages. You don't have to agree with everyone, but its asked that you respect everyone. Anything considered harassment towards another member will not be tolerated and will result in a warning and if necessary suspension of your account. Please keep all discussions, even disagreements, civil.
Stay On Topic
Please keep the topic of messages relevant to the thread in which you are posting, the community that surrounds the band and general topics of interest to a majority of the members of the community.
Don't Spam
Please make sure your comments and posts are relevant and contribute to the community and discussion. If you are found to be spamming the boards your posting privileges could be revoked.
Keep It Legal
Please do not discuss or advocate illegal activities. We don't want to be associated with it and neither one of us wants to be liable for it.
Don't Play Moderator
Feel free to refer other users to these rules of conduct should they appear to not understand them. However, don't take it upon yourself to enforce the rules. If you see something that's in violation, please report the post and/or contact an admin or moderator and we can take care of it for you. If you get involved, it will likely only make the situation worse.
No Solicitation
No commercial activity is allowed on these boards. While being provided to fans free of charge, this forum was not free to create nor is it free to maintain. The message boards are for the enjoyment of fans of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, and we won't allow that experience to be diluted by people advertising or soliciting. Any such activity will be deleted, and the offending accounts could be suspended or deleted for violating this policy.
Admins and Moderators
Admins are the people who helped create and maintain this site. Moderators are members of the forum who have proven to be level-headed and are being trusted with helping to enforce these guidelines and address any problems. Moderators don't get paid, everyone is here as a volunteer.
Free Speech Concerns
In these types of communities, it always inevitably will come up that a member is concerned with censorship. We reserve the right to edit, delete, or otherwise modify posts and threads to keep them in line with the guidelines established above. We also reserve the right to close and/or remove threads that have lost their substance (read: stay on topic, above). Abusive behaviour will also not be tolerated, whether that abuse is being directed towards a member of this forum or someone completely outside of the forum, who may or may not ever be aware of the abuse. This board is paid for and maintained by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, their representatives and employees. It is not a public space. Permission to contribute to this site is not irrevocable. While you are free to express any opinion, we are not obligated to be the vehicle for your expression. If it is felt that a posting is detrimental to the site and community, or violates any laws, we reserve the right to moderate or remove those comments. As long as you follow the guidelines listed above, you should never be concerned about not being able to voice your opinion.
The opinions and statements made by members on these message boards represent the opinions and beliefs of those individual members. Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, its members, representatives, and employees, does not endorse or approve of the comments made on these boards.
