Seeing what comes next with versatile, talented bands like GPN and Wilco is a big part of the appeal for me.
I've always wondered what would happen if the fans who resent/resist the evolution of a favorite artist / band got what they think they want.
Would they then find the music to be repetitive, stale, & boring after a while ?
